Make Room for Growth
Spring is associated with the Wood element, the time for gestation and growth. However newlife force... opportunities and blessings...cannot spring forth in an environment of clutter. Thus, this is the perfect season to space clear your home and work environment to make room for new "prioritized" desires and intentions to grow. Start by free'n up new space by clearing the rooms in your office and house and by cleaning out your... car, garage, pantry, refrigerator/freezer, closets, drawers, filing cabinets, desk, briefcase, and even old emails. This will make new room available for your desires and goals to evolve and grow. Keep in mind that everything in your environment is connected to you by an invisible cord of energy called...Ch'i...therefore, your environment will either support you or deplete you. As you begin to clear away the old and de-clutter your world, a new sense of freedom, inspiration and excitement will begin to magnetize your dreams and goals to you, effortlessly. Remember at all times that in Feng Shui...LESS means MORE...blessings and abundance. J
Appreciation vs. Depreciation
A wonderful Feng Shui teacher, friend and colleague of mine, Rich Welt, wrote to me recently about the affects of appreciation and depreciation in our lives. In a world that sometimes feels like it's gone mad, it's easy for us to get caught up in negative thoughts andthinking. However, if we space clear our work and living environments and forget to de-clutter and space clear our minds too, we limit the potential for real growth, healing and blessings to occur in our lives. Rich wrote: "I have found that my life gets richer and richer every time I appreciate what is happening in my world. When I don't take the time to appreciate what I am experiencing, there is a subtle feeling of things depreciating. There is a loss of fulfillment when I ignore all the gifts I receive on a daily basis. Yes, I know that there are some very difficult world events that are unfolding right now, and at the same time, I also know that when we find the gifts in all of our challenges, our life continues to be a rich life. It's been my experience that the more I write and say how much I appreciate all aspects of my life, the more fulfilled and rich I feel." Spring is the perfect season....to start recording (journal) the daily blessings in your life. And,, if you haven't already begun, it's a perfect time to start sharing with the people you work with and with those whom you love...how much you appreciate having them in your world. Appreciate yourself too...for your rich life!
